These are for all you Dallas Cowboy fans. We were in the Arlington area today, so we stopped so I could take some pictures of the new stadium that they are hoping will be complete in the summer of 2009. As you can see it is really going to something when complete. The last picture of the stadium is looking west.
Didn't do much today, so I'm digging back in my filesa again for some of my favorites. The following pictures were taken on a trip to AZ a few years ago.
I didn't post anything yesterday, I've kind of run out things to take pictures of. So until I get on the road again I'll mix some old with some new. Getting older and gas prices slow one down a bit. So here are the postings for today. The top picture is of a puple marlin high in the branches of our fruitless mulberry tree. The second is of our beautiful morning dove who hang out and eat the thistle I put out for the finches. These were taken in the last few days. The last is one of the more spectacular sunsets that I view from my living room window. It was taken several years ago when I first began using a digital camera.
I'm not a gardner, but I have neighbors who are, so instead of growing flowers for my bouquet I take pictues of my neigbors flowers to enjoy. The first two I can't identify and my neighbor is on a cruise to Alaska so I can't ask her what they are. The next is a hibiscus and then a zinnia. Then I photo shopped one of the zinnia pictures to give it a watercolor effect. I kinda like it. What do you think?
I'm a 75 year old Grandmother of ten wonderful grandchildren. My husband and I were married 47 years. We lived in seven states and visited every state except Alaska, which I hope to visit one day. I began to take photographs with the purchase of a digital camera in 2003. Prior to that I had never been interested in photography. The digital camera made it easy to take as many pictures as I wanted and the computer became my dark room. What fun.
