More Texas wild flowers

I spent the morning out taking photos of the beautiful wild flowers that grow along the Texas Highways. After last years low yield of flowers it was a delight to see them return this year. I'm a little early, but I will be away when they will be at there peak. This morning there was only a light breeze so there was very little movement, allowing for some good shots. One nice man saw me standing along the highway and stopped to make sure I was alright. He thought maybe the old lady might have a flat tire. There are still some good samaritans out there.

Next months assignment for the LGAA photography group is wild flowers. Today I was out and about and tried to get some pictures to use, but had little success getting the kind of pictures I wanted. The day was totally lost though. I took a few pictures of my freiends flowers. Hope the didn't mind. The blue bonnets are okay, but not what I wanted. It will give those of you who don't live in Texas and opportunity to see some our beautiful wild flowers.
